NoHo Residence - New York, NY
Architect: Joel Sanders Architect/ DXA Studio
This project includes a custom steel staircase passing through the existing wood framing of this 150+ year old industrial building, plus a rooftop bulkhead with all glass walls and mannerist roof/ soffit cladding. In addition to evaluating the existing floor and roof structure to support renovation design loads, AVRO provided Engineer of Record services including structural design for this open private residence.
